@ : There are 11 methods here to help make your period come faster, like vitamin C, hanging out with other girls who are on period and try birth control pills or other medications. Lots of women get lucky with these methods. Wish you good luck, too.

@ : If you are really in a hurry. I suggest you try the medication method. Or you can visit a doctor and get some professional advice.

@ : Vitamin C is goof for induce period. However, if you are really pregnant and take enough vitamin C, miscarriage may happen. Please before taking any methods consult your doctor.

@ : Don't be worry. Period is just like a friend to us who will accompany us for decades of years. Since this is the first time you two go out together, be sure to take enough pads and sanitary towel with you and bring extra pants.

I'm ten, have all of the regular puberty stuff (hair, development and what not) but I still have no period! I swim all of the time and can't wear pads when I do... But my mom is always saying she is too busy to talk and we barley have enough money to buy milk... I don't know what to do.. Help!

@ : You can use tampons to swim when you get your period. There will be instructions in the box on how to use them. Personally, I find it easiest to insert them while straddling the toilet bowl. It might take a bit of practice, so try not to get too frustrated. When school starts, speak with the school nurse about where you can get access to affordable hygiene products. She'll probably be able to send you home with a few freebies. Just use regular strength tampons at first if you have a choice. Do you have any friends whose periods have started? You can get a few tampons from them as backup in case your period starts before school does. (When you're visiting, just whisper to her "Hey, I'm trying to get prepared for when my period starts, but my mom is being IMPOSSIBLE about it. Do you have an extra tampon or two I can have?") Trust me, she'll be glad to help. If you can start saving some money (a hard thing, I know), but IF you can, then you might also try to get a Diva Cup. It's like a tampon, in that you insert it, but you can empty it out and re-use it over and over again, so you don't have to spend money each month on pads and tampons. In the long run, much cheaper. I hope this helps.
