I'm confused. You start your article talking about vaginal tears caused by intercourse, you then go on to describe degrees of vaginal tears (inaccurately by the way) this classification is used in obstetrics, if 4th degree tearing, which includes infiltration into the rectal tissues/muscle is caused by intercourse then there is definitely a problem with inappropriate force during sex. Bordering on abuse I would say. I have been a registered midwife for 30+years and have only seen such damage in women who have been victims. If you want to discuss postnatal issues/care, by all means do so, but get your facts & terminology right and don't confuse the issues.

I got my vaginal area torn during sex and we were very lubricated and it wasn't rough so this doesn't really make sense. i do kegel exercises and i have good nutrition so i still don't understand how this happened

Had rough sex a few days ago with a big toy it dried me up. I didn't want to try it but my man wanted to try it on me. So I got turned off dried up. Now when I pee it burns and hurts so bad I want to punch some I even curse sometimes. What can I do to ease the pain???

I am in my early 20's and have teared the last 4 times when I have had sex. I have tried everything: lube, eating more fruits and veggies, staying on top, etc. What can i do to stop this from happening? What next?
