Random bruising can be easily ignored as culprits may just be bumps. However, unexplained bruises may indicate serious conditions like diabetes and leukemia. Do consult a doctor when it's serious.

I found this informative. I had dot years ago but keep getting bruises under my skin. My doctor at the time says they were blood clots under my skin and to take a low dosage aspirin per day. I missed two days of a aspirin and lift some heavy weights and then some lunges and now my knees are swollen and huge bruises near my knees. I am now icing my knees. Why are clots causing my knee to swell?

The type of ehlers danlos syndrome should be noted. There are multiple types that are extremely different. It sounds like this article refers to the vascular type of EDS. I thought this may explain my random bruising but I don't know if this refers to my type which is the hypermobility type.
