A good marinade can always be benefited by pork. Generally salt is recommended to be less in case of pork marinade, because pork's hypertonic nature will absorb salt quickly and produce a texture like ham. The time to marinade depends upon the cut of meat, and thin slice takes a shorter time to absorb all the flavors while the thick cut takes longer.
