I've had pain in the right side of my chest shoulder and upper arm for about two weeks what would be causing this

I have this squeezing pain on the right side of my chest below the breast region. It been there for while. The first time I noticed it was in 2009 and I sort medical attention but it never went away. I took some CT scans then and all appear to be fine then. Years down the line I still feel this same squeezing pain. What could be the reasons for my pain?

I have just had a pneumothorax which occurred spontaneously, i.e. without any injury or external cause. Your otherwise helpful info should probably warn people that pain in chest could well be a collapsed lung.

I have been fatigued more than usual and my sleep pattern is messed up. I do have fibromyalgia. Two days ago I awoke with pain in my right chest and could barely get out of bed. It hurts to take a deep breath, bend over to feed my cats etc. I blamed it on "sleeping too hard" but after reading this article I'm not so sure. Will wait a few more days to see if it goes away.

I've been having pressure, tightness and crushing, pains in the lower right side of my chest, that goes to my armpit and extends to my elbow, it makes my right arm weak sometimes. This has been going on since November 2015, got some relief for about two months after visiting the ER where they didn't find anything wrong after EKG and exray.....now they pressure and discomfort is getting worse. I am fairly young at 38 and have had numerous testing done in last 6 months. I get pain sharp shooting on right upper side of chest. Also feeling so tired and disconnected. Have been to ER several times and they just write off as anxiety. I am stressed LOL BECAUSE I HAVE CHEST PAINS. I'm a mom and wife of 12 yrs and I need help...

I'm only 19 and quite regularly I get random pain the whole right side of my chest. Really bad stabbing pains and pressure and I've always been told it's anxiety which I do have but I know anxiety attack pains and this pain isn't the same and no doctor will further investigate.

Hi, I'm 27, father of two wonderful baby girls. I rolled over in bed this evening on to my right side. I felt an instant sharp burn on the right side of my chest , I've lived with heartburn all my life. I have passed two kidney stones in 2 years due to calcium build up from to many tums. I know what heart burn is, I hope. This was much sharper and in a small area. But the best way I can describe it is a sharp pulling burning sensation on the right side of my chest. as i'm writing this It seems to be growing. Scary stuff when the pain doesn't go away, and ideas?
