Itching is a feeling of irritation in a specific portion of your body which forces you to gouge your skin. What if I’m itching all over my body? What can be causing it?

I had a terrible rash that started in January I went to three doctors and the first one said it was due to hot shower. I just wasted my time with that one. My rash kept getting worse and worse (face only) the dermatologist prescribed Fluocinolone Aceonide Oil. It brought great relief, so much so that I was using it all the time as it brought relief only when it was on. Unfortunately it thinned my skin to dangers level. The doctor forgot to let me know that it thins the skin. But it was my fault as I did use way more than prescribed. I noticed that stress and caffeine would flare up the rash. Anyway, after 10 months of miserable , nonstop itch I went for allergy tests and found out that my blood pressure medication (metropolol) was causing the itch. I have been using this medication for 5 years and never had a problem. Go figure…anyway switched medication and have been itch free for 2 months now. I hope my experience can be of help.

My body starts itching A LOT whenever I go out in heat and also many times when I get even a little bit excited. It can be when I'm laughing a lot or when I'm listening to music. It just doesn't go away. Any idea what I should do?

I just start itching towards the end of January 2016. I went to my Primary and was given Methylprednisolone. It started when I ate TOFU. I got bumps all over my arms and legs. after 3 weeks of taking the pills i feel better. During the treatment I ate cheese and the itching got worse I went to the emergency hospital and the Doctor gave me Prednisone. i just finished taking the drug but my itching did not stop. A few years back in 2012 I drunk Soymilk from the box and got sick, too. I got healed after taking the Prednisone. What should I do now? Please help??? i think I am allergic to SOY, CHEESE or any DAIRY PRODUCT. Maybe I am also gluten intolerant??? Please help!

Soy in any form is poison. Do not eat it. It causes hair loss and thyroid problems and can lead more serious. problems. I used to eat soy many years ago and got sick and was shedding hair real bad. There's lactose free milk and cheese. Now my body itches all over when I eat gluten products and I'm on gluten free diet.
